Every now and again a piece of software pops out at you as something that might actually be quite useful. F.lux (flux) is one such piece of software.

Running in the background, while you work, flux adjusts the screen “temperature” depending on the time of day. If you’re working late at night, the screen gets a “warmer” glow, and during the day, it’s kept bright – sort of like adapting to your surroundings.

Give it a try and see what happens as the sun sets =)
