Google didn't help the NSA

NSA Seal

In a statement that simply said “Google was not part of the NSA’s Terrorist Surveillance Program” the search engine are categorically saying they were not part of the NSA’s scheme to crack down on usage of email and internet facilities by terrorists in the USA. Without a doubt. Even though the announcement is being picked to pieces by people, I think it’s pretty categoric because of it’s simplicity. I’m sure if Google announced in a long drawn out way that they were not a part of the scheme lots of people would still have found fault. The question that gets raised in my mind though, being an international user, is how would they have known who were American and who were international? Would the NSA be my National Security Agency as well if they couldn’t work out the difference?
